Globe is the second of the two incumbent operators, with coverage concentrated in Metro Manila, Cebu, and other major urban areas. In cities it competes closely with Smart; outside them, Smart generally has the edge.
Its most interesting product is not mobile at all. GFiber Prepaid moved to 300 Mbps in 2026 — six times its previous baseline — while remaining contract-free, which makes it arguably the best value no-contract home internet in the country for anyone it reaches.
On the tourist side, Globe's Traveler SIM is a 30-day, 80GB package with unlimited calls and texts. It is good value for a month-long stay and poor value for a week.
