What are my internet options in rural areas of the Philippines?

Fiber in the Philippines follows population density. Outside Metro Manila, the major provincial cities, and their surrounding urbanised municipalities, wired options thin out quickly.

- Fiber, if any provider reaches you — always check first, since coverage expands and checkers go out of date.

Practical advice for rural setups
- Router placement matters far more than in a city — near a window, high up, facing the nearest tower.
