What is the best unlimited data plan for tourists in the Philippines?

What each provider means by unlimited
- Holafly — no routine daily cap. Fair-use policy stated as applying for no more than one day at a time. $73.90 for 30 days on Globe.
- Airalo — 3GB per day at full speed, then roughly 1 Mbps. $71 for 30 days on Smart.
- Nomad — daily allowance then 512 kbps, the harshest throttle of the three. $33 for 10 days on Globe.

You may not need unlimited at all
A fixed 30GB or 50GB allowance is usually cheaper than any unlimited plan and more than covers a normal trip. DITO Level-Up 499 gives 62GB for ₱499. Unlimited is worth paying for when you genuinely cannot predict your usage, not as insurance against a number you have not estimated.
