DITO is the Philippines' third mobile network operator, launched to break a long-standing duopoly between Smart and Globe. It competes almost entirely on price, and it does so effectively — its Level-Up prepaid range is consistently cheaper per gigabyte than anything the incumbents publish.
It is also the most transparent operator in the market. DITO publishes its full prepaid lineup, with prices, allowances, and validity, on its own website in a form anyone can read and check. Smart and Globe do not. That is why almost every DITO figure on this site is marked verified while theirs are not.
The trade-off is coverage. As the newest entrant, DITO's network is concentrated in Metro Manila and larger urban centres, and it thins out in provincial and island areas where Smart in particular remains far stronger.

- Is DITO good enough as a main network?
- In Metro Manila and major cities, yes — it is the cheapest way to get a large data allowance. Outside those areas, check coverage where you actually spend your time before switching.
- What is the difference between Level-Up 99 and New Level-Up 99?
- Level-Up 99 gives 7GB over 30 days with 300 minutes to other networks. New Level-Up 99 gives 9GB but only 15 days, with 150 minutes. More data, half the validity.
