Converge Surf2Sawa is the clearest example, running from ₱50 for one day to ₱700 for 30 days at up to 50 Mbps. Globe GFiber Prepaid is the other major offering, reported at ₱1,199 for 30 days at up to 300 Mbps.

It costs more per month than an equivalent contracted plan and caps out at lower speeds, but it removes the lock-in entirely. For renters, remote workers, and anyone unwilling to sign PLDT's 36-month contract, that trade is usually worth making.
