Home internet delivered over a mobile network to a router with a SIM in it, rather than through a cable to your building.

It is the practical option where fiber has not been laid, and it sets up in minutes with no civil works or landlord permission. DITO's WoWFi Ultra kit is ₱4,990 including 30 days of unlimited 5G; PLDT's Home WiFi 5G+ is a reported ₱1,495.

The trade-off is consistency. Fixed wireless shares tower capacity with every mobile user nearby, so performance varies through the day in a way fiber does not, and router placement matters far more.
